Where to find Proxima
From Widow's Overlook Beacon, head north toward Blackridge Cliffs and pass the cultists fighting the Tarred Vestige. Use the local route landmarks rather than a guessed map pin.
Keep the Beacon active before pushing deeper. The route and the Shell's combat role are separate questions, so unlock her before planning a full lightning build.
Lightning and control
Biosampler supports target control and approach tools, while later upgrades add lightning-related pressure. Proxima fits players who want to set up a target before committing to close combat.
The best follow-up depends on your weapon, sidearm, Seal, and Resolve. Test the loop on ordinary enemies before using it as the foundation of a boss plan.
Upgrade decisions
Read the ability tree before spending Glimpse on a combo. A branch can improve control, damage, or survivability, but one upgrade does not automatically grant the rest of the kit.
Treat Proxima as a flexible pressure Shell, not a fixed answer to every boss. Equipment and unlock state change what her abilities can do in practice.
