01Update
Balance Patch 1 changes the economy, enemy and boss health, several weapons, a Seal, Tarstones, and stability on PC. It also refunds Glimpses spent on Shell maps, so check the Shell Keeper's alcove in Blackmarrow after installing the update. The patch is most useful when you revisit the exact route, weapon, or encounter that was giving you trouble before it arrived. Begin with a familiar Beacon loop, keep the same Shell and loadout, and compare the result before spending new Gloom or moving into an unfamiliar dungeon. Weapon smelting now costs 75 percent less Gloom, Mammon enemies drop double Gold, and several difficult enemies have lower maximum health. Great Martyr's Blade and Troubadour's Lute also gain attack damage, while Axatana, Black Needle, and Clockwork Scythe receive better light-attack tracking.

02Patch Notes
Balance Patch 1 is a PC balance and stability update covering Shell-map refunds, Gold income, Tarforge costs, enemy health, boss values, weapons, Seals, Tarstones, and crash fixes. Read its changes by system, because it does not make every encounter or every weapon easier in the same way. Use the entries below to decide what to test again, rather than restarting a whole run around one balance change. Check the installed version first, then keep a short route, a boss attempt, and a weapon test separate so a changed result does not hide another result or consume healing without teaching you anything. Record the old behavior before testing so the comparison stays useful. Lost Child and Monolith receive lower damage or health, several regular enemies lose maximum health, and Guard can now be used while walking. Sidearms, tracking, Tarstones, and weapon damage also change, so retest only the part of your loadout affected by a specific entry.
