Steam Deck

Mortal Shell II can run on Steam Deck, but its Steam page does not show an official handheld compatibility badge. Test open routes, dungeon transitions, boss fights, suspend and resume, and text readability on your own device before treating handheld performance as settled. A stable personal setup matters more than copying a setting without checking its impact on the route you actually play. Start with the default handheld profile, then repeat the same Beacon route after each display change. The launch option `SteamDeck=0 %command%` exposes the graphics menu; Medium Global Illumination and TSR are practical starting points, but disabling upscaling can sharply reduce performance. Check combat inputs, frame pacing, loading, inventory use, and a dungeon transition before committing a long save session to the device.
