Yes. Mortal Shell II is a Soulslike built around difficult encounters, bosses, death and recovery, parries, upgrades, and exploration. Its own combat identity comes from playable Shells, Resolve, Seals, Tarstones, sidearms, and movement that does not use a conventional stamina meter. The open routes support detours for another Shell, weapon, or Beacon when one encounter blocks progress. That flexibility changes the preparation loop without removing the need to learn enemy timing and protect weapon recovery.
