Do not guess the folder
A PC game can use Steam userdata, AppData, or a game-specific directory. A wrong path can lead you to edit configuration data, overwrite the wrong file, or mistake a cache for a save.
No checked path, filename, extension, profile format, or Steam Cloud conflict rule is available. The entry stays brief until a reproducible game-specific path is documented.
Safe handling
Close the game before copying, replacing, or testing any suspected save. Keep the original untouched and use a separate backup copy for an experiment.
Do not rely on generic Unreal Engine folders or an old video title as a game-specific answer. A usable update needs the exact folder and a clear save-versus-config distinction.
