mortal shell 2 fast travel

Fast travel in Mortal Shell II uses revitalized Beacons. Progress through Marrow Keep and obtain Mether's Breath, then use an eligible Beacon to move between routes you have already opened.

Unlock fast travel

Fast travel is tied to progression rather than being available from the opening minutes. Continue the Marrow Keep route until Mether's Breath is awarded, then return to a revitalized Beacon.

A Beacon must be in the correct state before it can act as a travel point. Simply seeing a Beacon name on the map does not guarantee that its travel action is ready.

Beacons and gates

Fast travel moves you between eligible Beacons, but it does not open every gate around them. A destination can still be blocked by a Bone Gate, Corrupted Gate, dungeon condition, or local encounter.

Use the nearest active Beacon as the start of a route, then follow the gate and landmark instructions for the specific objective.

Plan efficient returns

Revisit Marrow Keep when you need equipment work, merchant access, or a new route branch. Record which regional Beacon is closest to the weapon, Shell, boss, or dungeon you intend to visit next.

Fast travel saves the long return walk, but it does not replace route knowledge inside a region. Keep the final landmark or opened gate in your notes.
