Overview

The map is not the largest open world but still feels large because of discoveries, biomes, hidden crypts, illusory walls, unusual NPCs, and wandering. Sparse stretches between some interesting areas. This is a experience rather than a formal statistic.

A player may feel the world is broad because each route can reveal a new biome or secret, even when the total area is compact.

Practical details

A player can therefore explore away from a difficult encounter, return through a Beacon, and use maps or landmarks to continue. The navigation examples support connected routes without proving total area.

Route and choices

Some passages mention sparse stretches while others emphasize discovery. These observations can coexist because density and scale are different questions.

Structure, not a square-kilometer measurement.
