Where to find Smert
From the nearby Beacon, turn left and climb the slope into Prophet's Rest. Clear the local encounter before treating the Shell as unlocked.
Do not assume a weapon suggestion for the route is a requirement. The important part is reaching and completing the ritual encounter at Prophet's Rest.
Miracle and Chaos
Miracle costs half of Smert's health, stops time, and puts him into a combat stance. Unarmed attacks in that state apply Chaos, which detonates when time resumes.
The health cost is the real constraint. Build Resolve before activating Miracle and leave yourself a safe way to recover once the effect ends.
When Smert fits
Smert works best when you are comfortable accepting a narrow health margin for a strong offensive window. Test the timing in a low-risk area before relying on it in a boss fight.
Duration and status-defense upgrades can change the feel of the Shell, but they do not remove the risk of the base loop. Read each unlock before spending Glimpse.
